Kyle Kuzma after loss to the Mavs: “We just didn’t have it tonight”

Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma spoke with reporters after the team’s 114-100 loss to the Dallas Mavericks.

“We just didn’t have it tonight,” begins Kuzma. “Can’t be perfect all of the time.”

On what made it hard to guard Mavericks’ point guard Luka Doncic throughout the night, Kuzma says: “The biggest thing was the entire team. He was getting his team involved. You know, we got to worry about everybody else. Once he got his team going, it made it a little bit tougher to guard him because we had to worry about everybody else too.”

“I think we know who we are,” says Kuzma of the Lakers’ current outlook. “We’re a veteran team, so we kind of know what we need to do and who we are and the type of intensity that we need to bring. I think that we’ll be fine.”
