Michael Vick: “Kobe was a big-time supporter; Gave us some things that we’ll probably never see again”

Former NFL QB Michael Vick spoke with Fanatics View and gave us some insight as to how much the late Kobe Bryant helped him during a tough time in his career. Bryant tragically passed away on January 26th, 2020 along with his 13-year old daughter Gianna-Maria and 7 others in a horrific helicopter crash that affected not only the sports realm but the entire world.

Bryant was an avid fan of his hometown Philadelphia Eagles, and Vick was the team’s starting QB from 2010-2012. Bryant was even spotted wearing a Vick jersey during that time, and Vick was very appreciative of it years later.

“For him to show love and put that jersey on meant a lot to me at that time of my life when I really needed that. Confirmation from iconic figures that we support you, we appreciate you, and we recognize what you’re doing.”

At the end of the interview, Vick also playfully added that he was the greatest Madden character ever.
