After playing four years of division one college basketball for American University in Washington, D.C., Andre Ingram’s NBA prospects looked slim to none. No draft experts projected the combo guard to be selected in either round of the 2007 draft, but he never let the doubt of others stop him from pursuing his dreams.

3 G-League teams and 384 games later, Ingram’s dedication to basketball and persistence to make the league finally paid off. On Monday, after over a decade of holding out hope, Ingram’s NBA dream came true as the Los Angeles Lakers signed the undrafted 32-year-old swingman to their roster for the final 2 games of the regular season.
