2018 NFL Draft class guess what their rating is in the upcoming Madden NFL 19.

Electronic Arts (EA), the creator of the Madden video game, had some of the top draft picks and big names come in and guess their madden ratings.

For the most part, the draftees were not happy with their rating because they were usually lower than what they had in mind. Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Jaleel Scott summed up how everyone feels pretty well in the beginning of the video: “Wow, wow, wow, ” Scott said in response to his Madden rating.

Most of the rookies were predicting they would be in the 90’s in certain facets of their game, such as arm strength or their ability to juke. Most of them were disappointed or shocked, except a few. The Baltimore Ravens quarterback was satisfied with his speed rating of 91, telling the camera “that’s what I am talking about.”

First overall pick quarterback Baker Mayfield went as far to say EA rated him too high in some aspects of his game. Mayfield predicted his speed would be at 78 and EA rated it 81; the Cleveland Browns quarterback said “they gave me a couple on that one,” in response to his speed rating.

Miami Dolphins running back Kalen Ballage went as far as to say EA was inaccurate in their assessment of him.

“No, I’m not way off,” Ballage said laughingly. “You guys are way off.”

To see all the other rookies and current players ratings, Madden NFL 19 releases in stores August 9.
