Cowboys wide receiver Cole Beasley wowed the crowd in practice with a spectacular diving touchdown catch from quarterback Dak Prescott.

On most occasions, better offense typically beats better defense. That turned out to be true during Dallas Cowboys practice this week. Wide receiver Cole Beasley was blanketed by safety Kazon Frazier, but it didn’t matter because Beasley went airborne in the end zone to come down with the diving touchdown grab.

It might only be practice and preseason football, but Cowboy fans got out of their seat for this one.

Beasley isn’t new to sensational grabs. Rewind back to last season against the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football, and Beasley picked up a crucial third down with a behind-the-back one-handed catch in the fourth quarter to help seal the game.

Not only will the Cowboys and quarterback Dak Prescott welcome in more acrobatic catches from Beasley and the rest of the wideouts, but the team will also need No. 11 to help ease the process of the chemistry between the wideouts.

With the departures of big names this offseason for America’s Team such as Dez Bryant and Jason Witten, along with additions of new faces like Allen Hurns and rookie Michael Gallup, the longest standing wide receiver for Dallas is now Beasley as he is going into his seventh season.

Beasley and the new core of wideouts will look to improve a Cowboys’ passing offense that ranked in the bottom seven leaguewide in passing yards per game last season (196.3).
