Dallas Mavericks guard Seth Curry showed at practice how he has the potential to impact many games for the Mavs this season as long as he can maintain his consistency in scoring.
While he has been in the NBA for 6 years (2017-18 season he did not play) he has most recently started to pick up statistical speed the past 2 seasons he has been active. His stop-and-pop game has become more savvy, and his shot release is much like his brother, Golden State dead-eye Stephen Curry. With that same quickness in release comes a noticeable difference between them. Stephen uses a higher arcing shot which creates more potential for swishes and less for front rim bricks. Seth seems to apply more of a cruising altitude, standard level type shot which seems to fit him well when he isn’t trying to force the ball in the basket.
