Tim Hardaway Jr. on Mavs Overcoming Losing Streak & “Doesn’t Get Easier” NBA
Mavericks guard Tim Hardaway Jr. spoke to media following win against Atlanta Hawks.
Hardaway spoke on the Mavs breaking their losing streak and what the victory means.
“Got the warriors next”, he said. “It doesn’t get any easier you know. That team is fast, they play hard, it’s non-stop movement. They’re active on both ends of the floor. They have a future hall of famer, a couple of them, out there on the floor. We gotta just keep on fighting, it doesn’t get any easier. We’re happy that we got the win today but our whole focus now turns to Golden State and making sure we find a way to get two wins in a row”.
In addition, Hardaway spoke on being able to perform coming off the bench.
“Mindset first and formost. Knowing that you’re gonna come off the bench, knowing when you’re gonna go in the game, when your gonna come out. Knowing when you have to be that spark plug. Whether I’m coming off the bench or not, I’m still getting minutes with the starters. I’m still getting minutes when the bench mob coming in the game. At that point in time it’s just more so picking and choosing. I just know that I’ll be on the floor and being able to play with those guys”, he finished.
