Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki get some practice hits in before charity event.

Dirk Nowitzki hit some balls before the start of his Dirk Heroes celebrity baseball game. This is the seventh annual Dirk Heroes baseball game, with the first one taking place in 2012.

The event was held in Frisco, Texas at Dr. Pepper Ball Park. Celebrities from across the country, including some from Hollywood attended. From the sporting world, guests included Von Miller of the Denver Broncos to former Dallas Cowboy and Denver Broncos defensive lineman DeMarcus Ware.
