Jordan Hicks talks Facing Live Hitters Again & “2021 Is Going to Be a Good Season for the Cardinals”
Watch as St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Jordan Hicks speaks to media following 2021 MLB season.
Hicks talked about finally pitching live BP after injury.
“Before today, the last time I threw to a hitter was November I think for a live BP. But I didn’t have cleats on and it was indoors and pretty sure against a Ju-co or college guy. It felt good to be out there today and get back to it”, he finished.
Hicks also talked about his ability going forward as a pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals.
“I’d like to really just focus on 2021. To be honest, 2020 is in the past and I feel really good at where I’m at in my recovery. 2021 is gonna be a good season for the St. Louis Cardinals.”
“I do plan on competing for an opening day spot, yes”, Hicks said on his expectations as a starter for the 2021 MLB season with the Cardinals.
