Blake Griffin Reacts to Brooklyn Nets Elimination from NBA Playoffs & James Harden Playing Injured
Watch as Blake Griffin reacts to Nets elimination following 115-111 game 7 loss to Bucks.
“I’m still happy with my decision”, Griffin said on joining the Nets in 2021. “Obviously a tough loss, and not where we’re expected to be.”
Griffin also expressed the Nets injuries hindering the team’s success against Milwaukee.
“Injuries are apart of the game, things happen. Being without James [Harden] for 4 games, and then having him sort of on one leg. Having Kyrie [Irving] go out on a messed up situation…”
In addition, Griffin spoke on James Harden playing through a grade-2 hamstring strain in game 7.
“I couldn’t ask for a bigger sacrifice from a guy. He came out when we needed him and obviously wasn’t himself, but helped us a lot.”
“I don’t care what anybody says, nobody would have had us winning this series”, Griffin added. “I just felt bad for him. He’s one of those guys that absolutely loves hooping, and to not be able to play how he wants to at this level, has to hurt.”
