Kevin Durant’s 37 Points Help Warriors Late Run Against Spurs
The Golden State Warriors made a late run featuring Kevin Durant as they hold on against the Spurs 110-107.
Kevin Durant went on a shooting barrage as lead the team with 37 points, 11 rebounds, and four blocks on Thursday night. Draymond Green had his triple double of the season with 11 points, 12 boards, and 10 assists.
Steph Curry left early in the first quarter due to a right ankle injury.
Spurs forward LaMarcus Aldridge had 30 points, 17 rebounds, and four assists in the tough loss. Dejounte Murray added 14 points, six assists, and five boards.
Durant scored 15 points of the final 19 points for the Warriors as they were down as much as nine in the 4th.
With the win, Golden State is still half a game back behind Houston for the top seed in the West. The Warriors will not have Curry for their next games against Portland.
San Antonio has lost seven of their last ten games and are waiting for Kawhi Leonard’s return from injury.
