LeBron James on Dallas Mavericks’ Win Over LA: “We Knew They Wanted Some ‘Get Back’ After We Beat Them”
LeBron James on Mavs’ success against them: “They pushed the tempo more. They played with a better pace than us”
LeBron James spoke with reporters after the Los Angeles Lakers dropped their third game of the season, losing to the Dallas Mavericks 114-110. James finished with 25 points, eight assists, and nine rebounds.
“We know that team has played extremely well,” says James of the Mavericks. “Especially on the road. And we knew they wanted to get some ‘get back’ after we beat them on their floor. They get us on our floor.”
James was referring to the Lakers’ 119-110 overtime victory over the Mavericks in Dallas on November 1st.
“So, it’s a really good team,” James continued. “Very well-coached. You know, we just learn from our mistakes and learn from some of the good things that we did tonight as well.”
The Lakers will now play eight of their next 10 games on the road.
