Mavericks’ Luka Doncic spoke to media following a tough loss against the Denver Nuggets.

“Yeah, we had a talk”, Doncic said following rough team defensive showcase against the Nuggets. “A couple coaches spoke and that just stayed between us”.

Down by just 1 with 3 minutes remaining, Dallas failed to shut down Denver and close out the game. “You’re probably not gonna close out every game”, Luka said. “We’ve been good in the last couple games with the clutch situation, but today we weren’t good. Sometimes you’re not going to have it. We just need to continue playing and continue fighting for our possession. We gotta be better on the defensive for sure, and that’s our key to win games.”
