Chris Paul on NBA All-Star 2021: “Shout Out My Brother Kobe Bryant, I Only Know One Way to Play”
Phoenix Suns’ Chris Paul spoke to media following Team Lebron’s 2021 NBA All-Star victory.
Paul spoke on the All-Star game victory, giving credit to the late legend, Kobe Bryant.
“Shout out to my brother, the late Kobe Bryant. I only know one way to play, and that’s to win. We kept talking about it over there, it’s a game, everybody wants to stay healthy. Well we wanted to win, so we competed, and we won”, he finished.
Paul also gave praise to everyone involved in making the 2021 all-star game possible.
“Big shout out to everybody that made this happened. To the players who comin down and participating and playing. There’s always a lot of back and forth on these decisions, but once guys get here I think that they’re greatful for it now. But now, short break, quick turnaround, I’m bout to fly to LA to see my family.”
In addition, Paul spoke on supporting the HBCU basketball programs.
“It’s something that’s memorable, something I think none of us will ever forget. All of us players, we talked about it during the first initial shutdown and we’re talking about it during the bubble. To see all of this come together for this cause man, you see my jacket right here with all the different HBCU’s represented, so I was happy to be apart of it”, he finished.
