Watch as Bo Bichette speaks to media following walk-off homer against Yankees.

Bichette touched on his approach facing Yankees’ Chad Green in the 9th inning.

“I was just looking for a good pitch to hit. He’s got some pretty good stuff. Fastball’s tough, and his sliders tough so I was just trying to get a good pitch to hit and I got a hanging slider and was able to do something with it.”

In addition, Bo spoke on his hitting streak and heating up for the 2021 season with Toronto.

“I think I’m just starting to heat up. I think that I was grinding for a while and staying alive. That’s just a part of baseball, you fight until you start feeling good. I just feel good, I know I have all the time in the world.”

Bo also expressed his excitement for teammate Vladimir Guerrero Jr.’s incredible start to the season.

“It’s awesome to see”, Bo said. “He’s been through a lot the last couple years, and to see him put the work in and then see it translate. He’s back to Vladdy. I think he’s only really scratching the surface of what he’s capable of. I think he can be the best hitter in the game”, he finished.
