Boxing legend Marvin Hagler passed away on Saturday, March 13th at the age of 66. Boxing promotor Eddie Hearn said
“Marvin Hagler, legend”, Eddie said. “You know, I was only about 5, I think I was about 5 or 6 when he boxed Sugar Ray Leonard. When I became a boxing fan, mainly at like 9, 10, 11, 12, you’d watch those fights back, you know Thomas Hearns probably one of the greatest fighters of all time. But again, the Leonard fight, [Roberto] Duran, he was a legend, and very, very sad.”
“I only saw him maybe a year ago I think I was in Monaco” Hearn said on his last memory seeing Hagler. “You know I saw him and he seemed he was full of beans, full of health, It’s a very sad loss for boxing”, he finished.
