Paulie Malignaggi claims that Conor McGregor retaliated when he leaked footage of their sparring session.

Paulie Malignaggi has held a feud with Conor McGregor ever since he released video of their sparring session. The video which surfaced about two years ago, showed McGregor having his moments against Malignaggi.

But the Brooklyn native insisted the leaked video was an act of revenge for what really occurred.

“Conor couldn’t kick my ass so what he did was change the video around on me,” said Malignaggi. “Cause he couldn’t sleep at night after what I did to him in the gym. He couldn’t sleep, I’m telling you. That guy’s got a lot of pride. But when it comes to showing it, and putting your b—s on the table; all of a sudden he forgets about his pride.”

Malignaggi was unhappy as he claimed the leaked video was edited to favor McGregor. He even called on “The Notorious” to release the entire video of their session, where Malignaggi says he had his moments as well.

“It was all the things I told him as I was doing it,” said Malignaggi. “I was very degrading to him. I think he couldn’t sleep at night. And he had to figure out a way to say: ‘you know what, let me one up him. I have to one up him.'”
