Kristaps Porzingis Reviews Dallas Mavs 1st Half of the NBA Season & Catching a Rhythm for 2nd Half
Kristaps Porzingis spoke to media following Mavs victory over Oklahoma City.
Porzingis spoke on the team’s effectiveness on both sides, being able to hold Thunder to 78 points.
“Tonight I didn’t want to force anything. I knew the ball was gonna come back to me and you know, just keep playing. At the end, some easy ones came to me and I shot them and for us it’s important that we’re moving the ball and everyone feels involved. That’s when our energy is good on defense and you can see that translate. For our offense, it wasn’t great, but we were moving it well, and that’s why were able to hold them to 76 points”, he finished.
In addition, Porzingis spoke on the rough start from the Mavs following covid and injuries.
“It’s obviously tough when you’re losing, and we’re the type of team that we expect to win every game that we go into. We had worse moments, but we knew we had a lot of guys out at the start of the season… It’s a compilation of things, and the good thing is we’re catching a rhythm lately, and wanna keep it going after the break”, he finished.
