Watch as Madison Bumgarner reacts to another rough outing with Arizona Diamondbacks.

Oakland got the victory, outscoring the Diamondbacks 9-5. Starter Madison Bumgarner had another rough outing, allowing 6 runs through 4 and 2/3rd innings at home.

“It’s not a very fun game for me right now”, Bumgarner told media. “We’re trying to do what we can to get things rolling.”

With just 3 starts in 2021, Bumgarner is yet to find his rhythm on the mound for Arizona.

“I don’t know what to say. Extremely frustrating, that doesn’t do it justice.”

Bumgarner referenced his previous pitching struggles in the past.

“I’m sure I have. We’ve played a lot of games, and had a lot of different things happen to me over the years. I can’t recall on one specific time right now to compare it to, just because every one of them is diffrent.”

Bumgarner also expressed his assurance of getting back on track going forward.

“I feel like I’m just about to kind of cross that mountain and get to the other side and have a break through. So far it hasn’t happened, but I don’t feel like it’s so far off. Certainly, it looks that way right now, but I feel like at any time things could start clicking.”
