The young budding stars should be cause enough for fans to be engaged in the game. The biggest and brightest stars in all of baseball are all on one field for one night. What is great about the MLB All-Star game is that it features relatively new players every year, unlike other sports. This years game was no different with a record-breaking 21 first time All-Stars.

Jean Segura had a 3-run home run for the American League side. For the National League, the story is the same. Trevor Story and Wilson Contreras both had long solo home runs.
