Kristaps Porzingis interacts with fans at American Airlines Center

Kristaps Porzingis met with hundreds of Dallas Mavericks fans at the American Airlines Center. Many fans were in attendance as Porzingis signed autographs and took numerous pictures with them. The fans were really excited to interact with their new star as he is looking forward to suiting up for the first time in a Mavericks jersey since being traded last year from the New York Knicks. While recovering from an ACL injury, Porzingis was traded to Dallas mid-season and sat out the remainder of the year.

Jokingly, a fan asked Porzingis, “Hey KP, the Knicks are coming November 8th. What are you gonna do?”, to which he winked and then replied, “I got something special.” Consider that another competitive jab at Knicks rookie RJ Barrett, who mentioned recently he’d most like to dunk on Porzingis.

With the Mavericks boasting a young core led by stars Luka Doncic and Porzingis, the city Dallas has very high hopes for this Mavericks team.
