Kyle Korver on Trae Young: “I’m really impressed with him”

Milwaukee Bucks forward Kyle Korver spent some time with Fanatics View for an exclusive special and spoke about Trae Young’s rise in the league and Vince Carter’s legacy.

“I’m really impressed with him,” says Korver of Young. “He plays at his pace. He knows his game and he owns his spots on the court really well for a young player. His skill level is just off the charts. He’s incredibly fun to watch.”

“I don’t see why he wouldn’t be there,” says Korver in regards to Young possibly being present during All-Star weekend as a competitor. “He’s certainly one of the most exciting players in the NBA.”

Korver also spoke about Young’s teammate, future Hall of Famer, and 22-year veteran Vince Carter.

“Vince has done everything in the NBA. He’s been a star. He’s adjusted as he’s gotten older. There’s not a lot of guys who can do that. He’s always been a team-first guy. Ultimate pro. You know, watching him out there tonight, you feel like he could still play a few more years if he wants to. I told him ‘you’re gonna be dunking when you’re 65. You’re just unbelievable’.”

“His legacy is gonna be great,” continued Korver. “Hall of Fame. You know, obviously one of the best dunkers of all time.”
