Trae Young on Atlanta Hawks’ Loss to Milwaukee Bucks, Cam Reddish & De’Andre Hunter Playing Well
Trae Young reflects on loss: “A lot of it is on me. I gotta help my team”
Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young was very adamant in his self-criticism after their 135-127 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.
“I’m not helping our team out early on,” Young begins. “And it’s causing us to be bad to start quarters. We got to better when it comes to that. A lot of it is on me. I mean, I got to help my team.”
“Getting out and running,” adds Young. “Getting out and getting us into sets more. Just being better.”
Young also spoke with reporters on fellow rookie teammates Cam Reddish and De’Andre Hunter.
“When you’re getting up more shots, getting up more reps, especially whenever you’re not in a good comfort zone, it’s just going and getting shots up. So, they’ve both been doing that. They’ve both been working on their games, and it showed tonight.”
