Doncic on the loss against Trail Blazers: “I lost that game”

Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic didn’t mince words after a tough loss against the Trail Blazers. The Mavs dropped their first game of the season by a score of 121-119 against Portland on Sunday night, and Doncic was a bit hard on himself.

“We could’ve won that game for sure,” said Doncic after the game. “Especially me. I didn’t make good choices. I lost that game. Bad shot selection”. Doncic explained where he went wrong by adding, “there were moments I should’ve drove it in and just didn’t do it.”

When asked about his thoughts on Blazers guards Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum, Doncic replies: “they’re amazing”.

“It seems like they can make every shot. Even impossible shots.”
