Watch as Dallas Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle speaks on Luka Doncic’s Injury, Harrison Barnes Return & the Mavs Loss to Utah (Full Press Conference)
Rick Carlisle wasn’t too happy about the Mavericks’ tough loss to the Utah Jazz, but he did seem optimistic about the way his team battled. Carlisle stated that Dennis Smith Jr played one of best games since entering the NBA. With the great play from Smith, Doncic and Jordan the Mavs were close to pull off an upset victory over a talented Jazz team. A better game from Harrison Barnes could’ve made a difference, but Carlisle isn’t worried about the veteran swing man’s poor performance. After being out a month it may take Barnes a couple games to get into a regular season groove, and when that happens the Mavs will definitely be a better team.
