Ryan Saunders says that it’s scary that Luka Doncic can keep getting better
The Timberwolves narrowly defeated the Mavericks 110-108 Wednesday night.
Luka Doncic finished the game with 27 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists.
Doncic had the ball in his hands with less than 10 seconds to go and his team trailing by two points. Doncic broke down his defender, Josh Okogie, with a series of shakes and a scintillating step-back. Tyus Jones came to help and Luka passed the ball to Jalen Brunson who missed the game winning three point attempt as time expired.
“I give credit to Tyus Jones,” Ryan Saunders said. “Tyus was able to recover and have Doncic give the ball up, and you live with that.”
Saunders was asked by Fanatics View if there was anything that Luka Doncic does that can surprise him anymore.
“Not really,” Saunders said. “He’s unbelievably talented. Just the things he can do at his size. In a way, it’s scary that he can just keep getting better and better.”
Doncic has four games left in his record breaking rookie season to keep baffling opposing NBA coaches.
