LSU receiver Terrace Marshall speaks on new offense.

The  LSU Tigers’ debuted a new offense in this season opener against the Georgia Southern Eagles and it was a sight to see. This new offense not only has the fans excited, but also the players. This new offense has given a chance for their athletes to make plays.

Marshall received the lion share of the touchdowns as he reeled in a hat trick from quarterback Joe Burrow. The new tag line for the Tigers is that “everybody eats.” Marshall was one of the three receivers who found the end zone that night. He added that the spreading of the wealth “speaks volumes” to the talent and the type of team LSU can be.

“It was all love,” he said. “We all love to see each eat and succeed; we all worked hard all summer.”

It was appropriate for Marshall to catch three touchdowns because he had not caught one since his junior year of high school. There is a real sharing of the wealth with this new offense the Tigers have installed, making LSU’s offense more unpredictable.
