Michael Brockers confident in Rams’ challenge against the Patriots at Super Bowl LIII
Michael Brockers talks on the key to solving Tom Brady and the Patriots at Super Bowl LIII.
Los Angeles Rams’ defensive end Michael Brockers can see the way to defeating the Patriots. This of course will mean being on top of their legendary quarterback, Tom Brady.
“If we can cause that kind of habit,” said Brockers. “Get back to Brady, get in his face, and just make him move. Move around, and just mess up his timing. That’s what the Patriots are good at. They’re good at executing and being on time with all their plays. If we can mess that timing up just even a little bit for them, I think we can come out and win this game.”
The Rams seek their first Super Bowl championship in 20 years. It will be no easy task against the Patriots, who have made the most Super Bowl appearances in NFL history at 10. Brockers also recognizes that Brady will be in familiar territory, as he’ll be making his ninth Super Bowl appearance. Brady has also led the Patriots to all five of their Super Bowl championships.
“He’s seen it all, he’s seen it all,” said Brockers, of Tom Brady. “You either really have to hold your coverages, or something like that to fool him. But for a guy like that, who’s seen every defense known to man, possibly in the NFL; there’s nothing you can pull over his eyes.”
