Kristaps Porzingis on Mavs Struggles: “It’s Tough Right Now. We’re Just Trying To Get Out of This”
Mavericks’ Kristaps Porzingis spoke to media following 6th consecutive loss.
Porzingis discussed getting out of this difficult stretch, and staying positive going forward.
“For me, what I would change is just play a longer stretch. I think that will give me more time to get in a rythym and get better looks and not rush things. I felt much better late in the game and got some good looks and got into my rythym. It’s tough right now. Nobody likes to lose and we’re just trying to get out of this as a group and grow each game. We’re not content with where we’re at right now. We just gotta get back to work, practice, and stay locked in”, he finished.
In addition, Porzingis was asked what the future holds progressing through the season for the Mavs after returning.
“It’s hard to say. We’re not the only team that has some guys out. We can’t really blame it on that. Of course we’d like to have everybody from the first game. The situation is what it is. I can’t really put a number on this many games we’re gonna be playing well. Once we get a win, it all eases up and things happen more naturally. That’s what we’re looking forward to”, he finished.
