Watch as Antonio Brown gets emotional speaking on his journey to winning Super Bowl 55.
Brown gave thanks and appreciation after securing his super bowl victory.
“I’ve been threw a lot man, and I wouldn’t change it for anything. Adverstity, perseverance, fighting through, believing. To get to this point and be able to finish, just super grateful. I really thank god, it’s a surreal moment. It hasn’t really sunk in because of all the hard work and intangibles that go with it. I’m super grateful and couldn’t write a better story. God is the author and protector of my faith. To be in this position, I just have to thank him”, he finished.
“Man, I would love to”, Brown said on returning to Tampa next season. “This is a great spot here for me. I would love to come back and give it another shot at a two-peater – a double and back”, he finihsed.
In addition, Brown spoke on the influence from Brady to help get him back on track in the NFL.
“Tom is a great guy man. He’s a big brother to me and always believed in me. Took me under his wing, helped me get the right perspective. Helped me put some things into perspective… It’s a blessing to play this game. Being a year out from playing football helped me appreciate it more. I’m just grateful to be at this point right here and finally be a champion.”
Brown also gave praise to offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich after the big game.
“Man Byron Leftwich’s got some amazing plays. He put in an amazing gameplan, gave us the opportunity to make plays and win the game. It’s a blessing. He’s a great quarterback, and a great coach. He put us in a great position to come out victorious in this game”, Brown finished.
Byron got emotional speaking on the journey getting to this point for himself.
“It was a blessing. I couldn’t write a better story. I really thank god. I’m really grateful, god is so good man. Everything I’ve been through, to be in this moment, it’s a blessing”, he finished.
