Dirk Nowitzki on Coaching Luka Doncic at All-Star, Dwyane Wade Relationship & 3-Point Contest
Dirk Nowitzki speaks after a 112 -101 loss to the Heat and talked about the jersey swap between himself and Dwyane Wade.
“It has been a long time coming obviously knowing that he has been doing it. I will cherish that jersey obviously knowing a great competition that we had for such a long time with a great great player. One of the greatest guards that we had in our league and like I said there were some rocky times in our relationship after ’06, both ways. There were things said that both of us did not like. At the end of the day, you don’t love your competition, but we are in this together we are all family, and he had one heck of a career,” said Dirk.
Dirk and Wade have a possibility of getting into Hall of Fame together if Nowitzki announces that this is his final season in the league.
“We have competed against each other our entire career and it has been an honor against one of the greats and it would be fun.”
He also talked about coaching Luka Doncic during NBA All-Star Weekend & the 3-point contest.
