Philadelphia 76ers’ Ben Simmons spoke to media following tough loss to Utah Jazz.

Simmons spoke on his mentality and how his game play is changing and evolving.

“Honestly just been working on my mentality, and my mental these last few weeks. It’s not easy to do that, change the way you play. Certain things in the game that come natural to certain people, I feel like I’m figuring it out. My scoring has been a lot higher the last 5, 6 games. As long as I can keep doing that and stay locked in and keep working on my mental, I think it’s scary.”

In addition, Simmons spoke on the Jazz’s defense, and Rudy Gobert guarding him.

“I love when I saw Rudy was guarding me”, he said. “I love to be able to go at someone like that. I felt like It was a little disrespect putting him on me, but it is what it is”, he finished.

Simmons also spoke on what the 76ers have to improve to win more games.

“That’s defense, that’s us on defense. Defensively I think we just gotta be better. We gotta communicate more, we gotta play as a unit and stick to who we are. At times we’ve shown it in the past 3 games, but we haven’t stuck with it the whole game, which has hurt us. Offensively, I think my offense is helping, it’s just defense we gotta get that right”, he finished.
