Rudy spoke on the impact that LaMarcus Aldridge to the San Antonio Spurs.

“He’s really been doing everything”, Rudy said. “Honestly the only thing the all-star game was missing was him. I definitely think he should have been an all-star. We’re in playoff contention. He’s been doing everything for us, he’s been assisting and scoring, everything. He’s been leading this team”, he finished.

In addition, Rudy gave an emotional speech on teammate and friend LaMarcus Aldridge’s farewell from the Spurs.

“I’ve been around the business for a long time. And I’ve seen things change in organizations. I’ve been apart of change. Obviously, LaMarcus was a big part of this team, and has been for a long time. He’s done some really really good things as a Spur.  I think it’s the time to celebrate what he’s done. I obviously, being one of the leaders on this team, we have to move forward but LaMarcus, you can’t forget what he’s done here. He’s not just my teammate, he’s my friend. I’ve known him since I was 16 years old. I’ve texted him, and obviously wishing the best for him. This is us now, and we’re hoping everything works out for him, but that’s something for him and his agents to do. While we’re here, we just gotta figure out how to get these damn wins”, he finished.
