Watch as boxer Ben Askren joined Fanatics View’s James Lynch on his upcoming viral throwdown with internet star Jake Paul.

Following the press conference for the fight, Askren didn’t hold back on bashing Paul.

“Obviously Jake’s very insecure and I make him very nervous”, Askren told Lynch. “Jake knows it. In real life if we were in a fight I’d kill him like I said.”

Teaming up with Jake Paul, Askren ripped into UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal.

“Either way it’s bad – people aren’t digging it whatsoever. He just looks like a dope. He really, really, really does. I don’t know what he’s doing, I don’t get it, I think it’s annoying.”

Askren also spoke on his growing relationship with UFC president Dana White.

“Dana connected it”, Askren said on teaming up with boxing trainer Freddie Roach. “Dana becoming my friend after all this has been very interesting. I don’t hold grudges, so the fact that he held me out of the UFC back in 2013 when I was trying to make the transition, whatever. Listen, that happened, it’s done, it’s over with. I appreciated his help hooking me up with Freddie, Freddie’s been great.”

In addition, Askren mentioned the infamous phone call by Dana calling for Askren to kick Paul’s a**.

“I was getting of the shower one day and Dana called, and I was like ‘oh sh**’. I’m like I kind of already did this deal, is he gonna tell me I’m out or something? Then he’s like ‘kick his a**, blah blah blah’, and I’m oh sweet, this is cool, lets do it.”

The fight is set for April 17th, 2021 and Ben Askren is looking to put up a beating on celebrity-turned boxer, Jake Paul.
