Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Rob Gronkowski spoke to media prior to superbowl LV matchup against Chiefs.

Gronkowski spoke on a potential hometown superbowl matchup if the Bills had beat reining champs Kansas City in the conference championship.

“That would have been nuts”, he told media. “I was looking at the game after we won and I was like ‘this is gonna be nuts no matter who we play in the superbowl’. The Chiefs, they’re the reining champs, that’s already an incredible story. For myself, because I’m from buffalo, was thinking if Buffalo beats the Chiefs, I’m gonna be playing my hometown. While the game was going on I was checking the score and I was like ‘this is just incredible’, it was surreal. You either play the reining champs, or I play my hometown Buffalo Bills”, he finished.
