Bam Adebayo on Luka Doncic: “He’s special”

Miami Heat forward Bam Adebayo spoke with reporters after the team’s 122-118 win against the Dallas Mavericks and shared his thoughts on rising star Luka Doncic.

“He’s special,” begins Adebayo. “He doesn’t let anybody speed him up. He plays at his own pace. He’s one of those guys that’s really unique. He’s not really fast. He just does a lot of special things. He’s a big part of why Dallas is top in the West right now.”

Hall of Famer and TNT analyst Charles Barkley recently called Adebayo an All-Star.

“I did not,” says Adebayo in regards to if he saw when Barkley made that statement. “But I heard about it. And I appreciate you, Charles Barkley.”
